International Startup Festival

By Robert Aboukhalil (July 7 2011)

If you're in town next week, make sure to head out to this year’s International Startup Festival held in Old Montreal from July 13 to 15.

There’s "international" in the title so expect speakers and attendees from all over Canada, the US and Europe. The talks will cover everything startup, from the very first days of a startup to a growing company. The keynote speakers are: Dave McClure, Chris Shipley, Stephan Ouaknine, Paul Palmieri, Jeff Clavier, Andy Nulman and Jeremie Miller. The full list is available here.

It’s a great place to be at if you’d like to meet and engage with people who share your entrepreneurial spirit or, if you have a startup idea, for finding others with which you can partner up.

But that’s not all: among a batch of 120 startups from all over the world, twelve were selected to come pitch their companies and their ideas to you on stage! Check them out here.

As for the entrepreneurs amongst you who take business literally, there will be an elevator at the event so you can do an elevator pitch. Once in the elevator, you’ll have the chance to pitch your idea to investors/mentors for the duration of the ride.

The festival will take place on July 13 through 15, so register now before all the tickets are gone @ http://www.eventbrite.com/event/869924969/. Thanks to Startupifier.com, type “startupifier” as coupon code and get tickets for $30!
